About the role & the team 

As Head of Marketing and Partnerships you will lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team, responsible for XITE’s owned marketing channels (website, email, social media), growth marketing, platform partnerships, and label relations. You provide strategic direction and mentorship across all digital marketing initiatives, ensuring cohesive execution and continuous optimization across the customer journey. You build and maintain strong relationships with US and Europe based CTV platform partners (such as Samsung TV Plus, Amazon Fire TV, and Pluto TV) and music labels to secure high-impact placements and co-marketing campaigns. You drive growth through targeted acquisition efforts while improving customer retention through experimentation, insights, and data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of two marketers and provide guidance and support to help them achieve their goals.

  • Closely collaborate with platform partners (e.g. Samsung TV Plus, Amazon Fire TV, Pluto TV) on co-marketing campaigns, channel promotions, and launch visibility.

  • Set up and maintain partnerships with music labels and other key industry players (such as festivals, media outlets, and more) to drive brand awareness.

  • Develop and implement short-term and long-term strategic marketing plans to grow brand awareness, support sustainable growth, meet immediate business goals, and ensure marketing initiatives focus on both B2C and B2B audiences.

  •  Set up and execute marketing experiments to optimize customer retention and product engagement.

  • Develop and manage growth marketing campaigns across various channels.

  • Analyze and report on campaign performance and make data-driven decisions to optimize future campaigns.

  • Work closely with other teams across the organization, including product, sales, data, content productions and music.

  • Write and edit press releases, media kits, and other materials to support media relations efforts.

Job requirements

  • You have a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.

  • You have 7 to 10 years of experience in digital marketing and partnerships, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

  • Experience in the music, connected TV, or streaming industry is a plus.

  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing successful growth marketing campaigns (both B2C and B2B).

  • A hands-on mentality: you're comfortable stepping in to execute campaigns, write copy, or analyze data when needed. 

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to make informed decisions.

  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team.

  • Creative thinker with a passion for experimentation.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities, deadlines, and market conditions.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus).

  • You live in the Netherlands (we work in the office at least 3 times a week).
