Head of UX/UI

About the role and the team

In this role you will be responsible for leading our team of two designers and oversee the UX/UI design process for all products developed by XITE. You will work closely together with our product- and marketing teams.

Responsibilities

• You will lead the Product Design Team (our Figma Expert and UX Product Designer).

• You lead UX/UI design projects from concept to execution.

• Oversee the quality of design deliverables, maintaining a high standard of excellence and attention to detail.

• Work with internal teams on ideas and projects/ pitching for existing and new clients.

• Maintaining consistency in design and user experience across our platforms and channels.

• Stay updated with design trends, emerging technologies, user research and industry best practices to drive continuous innovation in our design approach.

• You have 5 to 7 years of UX/UI design experience.

• You are a user advocate and have a keen and highly creative eye for design; preferably design for TV screens.

• You have experience with leading and developing a team.

• You are flexible, proactive, a good communicator and have a strong drive to develop yourself and continue to grow.

• Ability to work with different teams and stakeholders across the company.

• For this position we have a strong preference for NL-based candidates (or willing to relocate) as we want to see you regularly in our office.

Our Tech Stack

• Knowledge of Figma is mandatory in this role, experience with JIRA is highly appreciated.

• Nice to have: knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign, Premiere Pro and Sketch.

Our hiring process

1. Apply: Apply for a role, and we will contact you.

2. HR Interview: Our recruiter will contact you, because we’d really like to find out more about you and to see if there is a culture fit between you and XITE. During this interview you can ask all your questions about the company.

3. Interview with MT member: In this interview you will have an interview with one of our MT members and will also be your future manager. You will dive deeper into the role, your knowledge and experience.

4. Interview with the team: In this round you will have an interview with the team. 

5. Reference check: We ask you for 2 references that we can give a call and ask a few questions as a part of our hiring process.

6. Offer: Hopefully with our offer, we can welcome you to the team of XITE!
