About the role and the team
As a Junior Ad Operations Specialist you will work closely with the sales team. Together we are responsible for revenue generation as well as making sure the ad breaks are filled to our best ability. You will mostly work on optimizing campaigns, as well as technically making sure all connections are in place. Your role will be key to the success of XITE as a business.


  • Setting up different campaigns on different platforms.

  • Getting insights and learning from campaigns and translate them into optimization for clients.

  • Managing and setting up different connections within our ad server to SSPs/DSPs.

  • Optimizing the sold campaigns so that the delivery goal can be achieved.

  • Helping out sales with debugging of different campaigns.

  • Daily monitoring and analyzing the performance of the advertising stack.

  • You (help) build out our amazing client relationship.

  • Consulting, monitoring and support from external partners.

  • Coordination with internal departments such as Ad sales, finance, tech teams and external partners.

  • Maintenance and documentation of processes and products.


  • Work experience is not needed but a bonus, we value great attitude.
  • You are a team player and a self starter.
  • You can work with deadlines and ain't afraid to reach out to clients.

  • Committed, independent and careful way of working, excellent time management and hands-on mentality.

  • High, proactive communication skills and organizational skills and fluent in English and preferably in Dutch.

  • Good knowledge of HTML/CSS, XML and JavaScript or open to learn.

  • You live in the Netherlands and have a valid EU VISA or EU Nationality.

The process

  1. Apply: Apply for a role, and we will contact you.

  2. HR Interview: Our recruiter will contact you, because we’d really like to find out more about you and to see if there is a culture fit between you and XITE. During this interview you can ask all your questions about the company.

  3. Assignment: This is your moment to shine and let us know what skills you offer. In the assignment we will provide an insight in the tasks that you will be doing in this role. You get one week to make this assignment. Need more time? Not a problem, just let us know.

  4. Interview with the hiring manager: The second interview will be with your future manager; the Director of Advertising Technology.

  5. Interview with our Director of Sales & Partnerships: As you will work closely with the sales team.

  6. Interview with one of our board members: A last chat with one of our board members.

  7. Reference check: We ask you for 2 references that we can give a call and ask a few questions as a part of our hiring process.
