We’re looking for a talented and motivated Junior Graphic Designer to join our Brand & Content Productions team. In this role, you will be responsible for daily design production and supporting the team in creating visual content that is consistent, on-brand, and high quality.

About the role & the team 

As a Junior Graphic Designer, you will play a key role in developing visual elements aligned with our brand identity. You will collaborate closely with the Visual Brand Designer, Video/Motion Designers, and the Head of Content to bring creative ideas to life across a variety of platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Design Production & Operation Work: Create daily design assets for TV channels’ branding and digital platforms – such as program schedules, TV promos, promotional TV banners, marketing visuals, and internal communication materials.

  • Brand Consistency: Develop visual elements that reflect and reinforce our brand strategy and identity.

  • Visual Storytelling: Contribute to visual storyboarding for video edits and campaign content. You have a strong sense for visual pacing, layout, and how static design can support motion. While you will not be animating, you enjoy thinking in transitions, movement, and sequences that enhance storytelling.

  • Image Selection: Source strong and relevant visual content – mainly from music videos – for use in visual designs across our platforms.

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Visual Brand Designer and the broader content team to ensure alignment in design execution and support the evolution of the brand.

Job requirements

  • A strong interest in designing from and for a brand perspective.

  • A keen eye for communication – you understand how design works with copy to serve different purposes.

  • Affinity with music video content – this is a major part of our visual work.

  • A proactive communicator who is comfortable sharing ideas but can also focus and work independently.

  • A creative mindset that is always thinking about how to improve and evolve existing concepts within brand guidelines.

  • Experience with Figma is a must; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is a strong plus.

  • You are fluent in English, both verbally and written. 

  • You are living in the Netherlands: this is a hybrid role and we would like to see you 3 times a week in our office (Tuesday, Thursday and Friday).

Our hiring process

  3. Assignment: we invite you to prepare a design assignment that you present in your next interview.

  4. Interview with your future manager and Visual Brand Designer. During this interview at our office with our Head of Content and Visual Brand Designer you discuss your assignment, your experience, background, the role and the team.

  5. Interview MT member: This is the final interview with one of our MT members, responsible for the Content Productions team at XITE.

  6. Reference check: We ask you for 2 references that we can give a call and ask a few questions as a part of our hiring process.

  7. Offer: Hopefully with our offer, we can welcome you to the team of XITE!
