About the role

Your work is lying in the heart of the execution stage in the software development cycle. As soon as the product requirements are ready, you along with the development team start tailoring backlogs with tasks needed to accomplish a feature based on PRD. You work directly with the development teams which include representatives of frontend, backend, quality assurance engineers and the design team. Reporting to the product manager, you’re acting in the best interest of the smooth development and delivery process according to the provided plan.

Responsibilities

• Break down feature requirements fully and extensively described in PRD to executable tasks, together with the teams

• Set cross-team dependencies to tasks and work towards getting them resolved in a timely manner

• Secure async manner of work by keeping teams’ tasks up-to-date on JIRA boards (status, assignee, comments, dependencies)

• Coordinate planned tasks’ execution as a part of release management (sometimes tasks are time and order sensitive)

• Keep track of improvements in a product iterations

• Drive teams' events: backlog refinement sessions, retrospectives, stand ups

• Boost teams’ effectiveness and performance by bringing a good structure to a planned workload and iteratively improved processes on a team level.

• 2+ years experience in Scrum Master role

• Fluency in English language in writing and speaking

• Strong knowledge in software development cycles

• Practicing various Agile principles and techniques

• Proficiency with JIRA

• Great communication skills

• Lean Agile mindset

• Desire to grow professionally

• Experience in QA or software developer role is beneficial

The process

1. Apply: Apply for a role and we will contact you
2. HR Interview: One of our recruiters will contact you, because we’d really like to find out more about you and to see if there is a culture fit between you and XITE. During this interview you can ask all your questions about the company.
3. Interview with Product Manager: We will dive into your expertise to understand how much of a professional fit it is with the product manager. You will also have the opportunity to ask all your own questions. 
4. Interview with the team leads: Is an opportunity to understand if it’s a match with people you will be working with day-to-day.
